God's Office
What if God called in sick today and said
He could no longer help
What if He turned His back on you, shrugged
His shoulders, and said “Whelp!”
What if God told you that from all His
work, He wanted to retire!
He was through looking workers! There was
no one left to hire.
What if when His phone rung, He ignored
your honest request?
Would you think that He loved you and
wanted to give you the best?
What if He slammed His office door and
screamed, “please stay out!”
Would you walk away wondering, what that
was all about?
What if He threw away “all the books” your
tears were recorded in?
Would you think that this loving God was
your dearest friend?
What if God was too busy to help you when
you cry?
What if salvation was something you had to
buy?
What if God told you that Heaven was not
for real?
What if it was a place that “only the
perfect” could feel?
What if God did not wake you with His
invisible kiss?
What if life had no meaning, understanding,
purpose, or bliss?
What if God decided that you were not worth
His time?
What if He never sent Jesus to pay for your
crime?
What if we understood that we owe a debt we
cannot pay?
Would it change the world in a significant
way?
What if God called in sick today and said
He could no longer help
What if He turned His back on you, shrugged
His shoulders, and said “Whelp!”
What if God told you that from all His
work, He wanted to retire!
He was through looking workers! There was
no one left to hire.
